Get ready for a sizzling summer kickoff at the Parma Rib ‘n-Rock Fest, returning for its 34th year as a four-day celebration of food, music, and community spirit. From Thursday, June 4 through Sunday, June 7, 2026, the event takes over The Shoppes at Parma, 7900 Day Drive in Parma, behind Dick’s Sporting Goods, in a new location with plenty of room for hungry crowds and live entertainment. Hosted by the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce and presented by Cuyahoga Community College, this year’s festival also serves as a bicentennial tribute to the city, mixing Parma pride with award-worthy barbecue and a packed music schedule.

Food is the main attraction, with a competitive rib cook-off featuring pitmasters from vendors including Mojo’s, Smokin’ T’s, BG’s Main Event, and more. Festivalgoers can sample ribs, brisket, sauce, Italian sausage, kettle corn, apple dumplings, and other fair-style favorites while judges and attendees help crown the weekend’s best barbecue. Families can also check out the Kids Corner with rides, games, and activities, while admission remains affordable with kids 12 and under and active military admitted free, $5 presale tickets, $7 gate admission, and free entry Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. as part of Parma’s bicentennial celebration.
The entertainment lineup keeps the energy going all weekend with tribute acts, party bands, and local favorites across multiple stages. Thursday features East Wind and Out of Eden, Friday includes China Grove and Saints in the City, Saturday brings Rock Radio, The Shotskis, Sid Lucid, and Fleetwood Gold, and Sunday wraps with Whiskey Outlaws, Boaterhead, Frank & Dean, and the Chardon Polka Band. Whether you’re coming for the ribs, the live music, or the community atmosphere, Parma Rib ‘n-Rock Fest looks set to be one of the area’s signature early-summer events.
